waaah, first book I had to request from the library :(
The Yeerks are building a big ground based kandrona that would turn every body of water around into a Yeerk pool. That's a problem. The bigger problem though turns out to be the fact that it's located in the Arctic. The kids are really feeling bad when they end up in the freezing cold with no good morphs and spandex.
This is the first time the Chee take the group's place during a mission.
I remember someone else mentioning Marco's comment about wanting the world to know about the Venber thing later...that kind of sticks with you.
The beginning was fun, the Big Date failure.
Funny: < So says the flea all snug and warm in his honey's back fur >
Another funny Marco comment lol: < Maybe they lived between the Four and the Six > when they were discussing the Five.
I'm curious what Ax meant about how facing the Five changed the Andalite race.
I'm also prepared for the comments about Cassie...hasn't the seal thing been mentioned before in reguards to her? I forget.

I've put this on a few sales/ trade posts with no avail, so maybe a post about it will generate some interest. I am one book shy of my full collection. I need # 51. I have an extra #1, #5, # 11 and # 34 I can trade. So if you see 51 in a library or book bin or anything, please let me know!
Alternately in the spirit of the Holidays, if someone needs #1, #5, # 11 and # 34 please note me and I can see about sending it out to you for shipping or no cost so as long as you are willing to wait until after the Jan 2nd

I've been lurking for a bit now so I figured it was high time I said hello especially when I share what I found at my local used bookstore...
I have all of the regular series books up to #40 with my three favorites unfortunately missing (since I foolishly lent them to a friend - never to be seen again). I was wandering through a used (honestly more of a 'junk' store than a bookstore) where I spotted a stack of Animorphs books! Most of them I unfortunately had but I managed to replace two of my missing books (#26 & #23) and started to fill in the gap at the end of my collection PLUS I managed to pick up 'The Ellimist Chronicles'. Nine Animorphs books for sixty-nine cents each! Woo!
Anyway, nice friendly community you folks have here! Hope I can be a more active part of it.

I'm sorry, I have no willpower. I have to share this. I wrote it inside my copy of the Hidden and just found it (because I never opened that book again).

The Animorphs have a problem. A very small one, called the Helmacrons. Tiny aliens less than an inch tall may not seem like much when you're as big as a human, but the situation changes when they get shrunk down to the Helmacrons' size.
I think the book is probably a filler book. Aside from the two later books, The Journey and The Hidden, the Helmacrons didn't figure into things too entirely hugely.
It's still a fun read though. I like the humor. "Honey, I shrunk the Animorphs" lol
The constant bickering between the Helmacron males and females is fun too.
Of course a few things were kinda gross too lol, the imagining of the up close views of hair and skin and stuff.

Just an idea, for those of us scanning FOL and other places for Animorphs books to collect, re-collect, or finish the series - maybe we should network. My local FOL is going to be closed until around New Year's Day, but I walk in there and sometimes there are quite a few Animorphs books, particularly after FOL book drives/fares.
There were three copies of The Capture and two of The Stranger, for instance, amongst some others - I managed to get The Underground and The Illusion. Being dollarless the week before I missed out on getting The Pretender. And this is without even checking other local libraries.
So if we network and know what books other people are looking for, we could swap - either trade when someone has a book in their area that you're looking for and vice versa, or just get the book for its cost and postage.
I've managed to get really lucky through FOL at times, but if I know what other books people are looking for there could definitely be some helping out in that regard. They're never in really bad shape or anything either (especially comparing them to my Amazon experience...).
Also, I believe I have duplicates of The Secret and I know I have two of The Departure.

Okay, not to spam, but I'm trawling Amazon to replace my falling apart collection, and behold:
VHS's of the TV series, anyone? Or mayhaps a poster?
I totally forgot there was so much merch. Like card/board games and video games.
This stuff is expensive. o_o No, I do not want to pay $999.99 for a copy of book 6, even though I need one.

In book 23’s reread there was a little tangent on Cassie books being isolated, unincorporated into canon, and/or basically being worthless. So I went investigating. Disclaimer: I named my cat Cassi when I was 10 because my name is Rachel and this was a logical idea (and I didn’t like the spelling with the ‘e’). I don’t hate Cassie, but I do roll my eyes at her a lot. I’m trying to be unbiased here, to use a reader’s and a writer’s perspective, and generally try not to let my fangirl/history major/bio minor selves take over. I did not read all of these books; I skimmed them, and I will try not to let my rambling turn into stuff that should be saved for the rereads.

I’m kind of tired of looking at this, and I doubt I’ll ever manage to finish it (though if I do I’ll make sure to post it), so here is the WIP for a portrait of Toby/some random Hork-Bajir. I’d say it beats the last one I did!

Today, me and the Elfangor-mun from one of my RP games had a discussion lamenting the lack of "Elfangor-wearing a Santa hat" fanart. Because clearly, if "Visser Three pulling Santa's sleigh" fanart exists, this should too. Alas, since neither of us could draw, my hasty photoshopping skills will have to suffice:
